Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops. The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity. In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6. Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.

Players have reported encountering 0x errors. These error states can be resolved by repairing the game application. Select Start → Settings → Apps → Installed apps. Find Call of Duty. Select the More (three dots) icon and select Advanced options. Select Terminate. Under Reset, select Repair. If this error persists after repairing the application, you will need to reinstall the game.

A visual issue may cause some players to see their COD Points balance at zero after downloading game updates. To restore your balance in game, please quit and then restart the game application. This may need to be done more than one time.

An issue causing Primary or Secondary weapons to reset to default weapons, such as the XM4, upon selection is under investigation. Workaround: Some players have found success by deleting and rebuilding affected loadouts. Did you have a Melee Weapon blueprint in your loadout? If so, you can also try the following: Re-equip the Melee Weapon blueprint into your loadout. Replace this blueprint with a base Melee Weapon. Delete the loadout. Rebuild the loadout.

[Black Ops 6] I get a “code execution” error when I launch the game. - Xbox on PC
An issue preventing some players from launching the game leading to a “code execution” error has been identified. The code execution cannot proceed because discord_game_sdk.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem. While this is being addressed, players can resolve the issue by downloading the missing .dll file. Important! Only use the official .dll file provided below for this workaround. Do not download the file from unofficial sources. Workaround: Download discord_game_sdk.dll.zip. Unzip the file in your downloads folder and copy the .dll file. Go to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in the Xbox app on PC. Select the three dots and select Manage. Select the Files tab, then select Browse. Open the Call of Duty folder, then open the Content folder. Paste the .dll file into the Content folder. Restart Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
